DAYTON INTERNATIONAL PEACE MUSEUM

Arment is a founding board member and served as the first director of the Dayton International Peace Museum, which is working to change our current culture of violence into a culture of peace. The Museum is located in Dayton, Ohio, where the Dayton Peace Accords were signed in 1995. This example of diplomacy and statecraft put an end to the war in Bosnia which had taken over 200,000 lives.

Through exhibits, events, international and community outreach, as well as programs for chilcren and adults, the Peace Museum is dedicated to helping people choose peaceful alternatives to violence and conflict. The Dayton International Peace Museum provides space for recognition, experimentation, education, training, and appreciation of the many current and future avenues toward peace, including spiritual, environmental, civic, relational, and artistic.

Arment is currently the Team Director and Co-Chair, Board of Directors.

THE PHYSICS TRILOGY

The three novels that Arment is currently completing, which use physics as an integral part of the plot, are intended to give insight into the universal questions and how we can achieve peace in this world.

Backbeat: A Novel of Physics is an introductory book that provides readers an understandable link between the human condition and the laws and models of physics.

The second novel, Berto's Ride: A Journey Toward Spirit, will be coming out next year. As a sequel to Backbeat, the new book will bring light to the spiritual implications of relativity and quantum physics.

The third novel in the trilogy is being written using an innovative "language of energy," which the author is currently devising as a syntax for the positive role an energetic viewpoint can give to our lives.

The Physics Trilogy by J. Frederick Arment is dedicated to our continuous efforts to find meaning, methods, and a vision of peace through our commonality as energetic beings.
